Maintenance · Monthly plan, no lock-in

Website maintenancethat keeps it performing.

A website is not finished the day it goes live: that is when it starts working. From then on it needs watching, updating, backing up and changing as your business changes. A monthly plan you can cancel whenever you like, available even if we did not build your website.

What you can hold us to.

Maintenance is not insurance in case something breaks: it is the work of making sure it does not, and that when something does go wrong it can be undone in a minute. These five readings are what you can hold us to in writing from the first month.

01

Backups

There is no weekly backup that can catch you halfway through something. Every change to your website is saved as its own version, with its date and reason, and they all stay there.

Every changeFull history
02

Rolling back to the previous version

If a change goes wrong, there is no backup to restore and no waiting for someone to find the right file: it goes straight back to the previous version, which stays live while the fix is made.

03

Hours for changes per month

Text, photos, prices or a small tweak: they fit in the monthly hour without opening a quote every time. Anything beyond that is flagged and approved first, never on the invoice.

04

Who you write to

No switchboard, no ticket number, no different person every time who needs your business explained again. You write to whoever knows your website because they built or audited it.

05

Minimum term

No contract tying you in and no exit penalty. We would rather you stayed because it is worth it, not because you cannot leave.

0 monthsCancel anytime

If one month you need more hours than the plan includes, we say so and agree it first. No surprise invoices here.

(02)What is included

The same plan, whoever built it.

The plan is identical for a website we built and one that comes from elsewhere. The only difference is that an outside website starts with an onboarding audit.

01

Keeping what makes you money working

Every time we go in to change something we check what really costs you money if it breaks: that forms still reach your inbox, that the certificate is valid and that the shop takes payments. A broken form is the most expensive fault and the quietest, because nobody complains: they just stop writing to you.

02

Security and backups

Dependencies and patches kept up to date, and every change saved as a version you can go back to instantly. If something goes wrong, the question is not whether there is a backup: it is how long it takes to go back, and here it takes a minute.

03

Performance and visibility

Core Web Vitals reviewed when the content or the rules change, and checks that search engines (both classic and AI) keep reading your website properly as it grows.

04

Content and improvements

A block of hours each month for content changes, and new functionality in sprints when needed, without opening a whole project every time you think of an improvement.

(03)How it goes

Getting started is a call and an audit.

If we built the website, the plan starts on launch day. If it comes from elsewhere, first we look at what is underneath.

01

Onboarding audit

We look at what your website is built with, what state it is in and what can sensibly be maintained. If what is there cannot be sustained, we tell you instead of charging a fee to watch a problem.

02

Bringing it up to date

Urgent things first: security, backups and anything broken right now. It is the only month with heavy lifting; after that the plan is cruise control.

03

Monitoring under way

Check-ups and updates go in the calendar, and every change is saved as its own version. You do not have to remember anything, which is exactly what you are paying for.

04

Your changes, whenever they come up

You write to us and it goes into the month's hours. No ticket, no form and no being passed to someone who does not know what you are talking about.

05

And if one day you do not want it

You stop. No lock-in, no penalty, and your website does not depend on any licence or platform of ours to keep running.

(04)Questions

What people always ask.

Regular checks that the website is up and responding, security updates, every change saved as a version you can roll back to in one click, speed reviews and one hour a month for content changes or small improvements. Anything beyond that hour is quoted beforehand, never afterwards.

No, and we mean it. Your website does not depend on a licence or a platform of ours: if you would rather carry on by yourself, it works just the same. Maintenance is for people who do not want to keep an eye on it, not a toll to keep the website switched on.

Yes, and it is quite common. We start with an onboarding audit to see what it is built with and what state it is in. If it can be sensibly maintained, it joins the plan. If not, we tell you plainly instead of charging you to watch something that will fall over anyway.

None. It is monthly and you can stop whenever you like, with no penalty and no explanations needed. If a plan only survives because the client cannot leave, it was not worth what it cost.

We tell you how it is, not what sounds good. We will not promise 24/7 cover: we are a small studio and that promise, from a single person, would be a lie. What you do get is a website living on infrastructure that very rarely goes down, every previous version still available, and undoing a broken change in a minute rather than hunting for a backup. And if you also want an automatic alert the moment it stops responding, we can set it up and add it to the plan: just ask and we will quote it.

It includes making sure you do not lose it: speed reviewed, a healthy structure and checks that search engines (classic and AI) keep reading the website properly as it grows. An active SEO campaign, with new content and a keyword strategy, is a different job and quoted separately.
