(01)Before and after

What was there, and what's there now.

Before

An inherited website that showed off the box but didn't win anyone over: timetables, photos and no clear way to book a first trial class. Traffic came in and left the same way.

After

A custom website that treats every visit as the start of a funnel. Since launch the team gets far more WhatsApp enquiries and trial bookings, and classes are noticeably fuller. It went live scoring 98 on Lighthouse.

(02)The challenge

Oceanus Box needed an online presence that turned the energy of their CrossFit box into real members. The old website was static and didn't convey how intense the training is, but above all it never asked for anything: visitors found no next step. The business was already getting attention from Instagram and Google. The problem wasn't traffic, it was that the website didn't turn it into trial classes or memberships.

(03)The solution

We designed and built a custom website with its own visual system that captures the energy of the box: bold typography, action photography and a structure that takes visitors straight to the free trial. A React and Vite build, with no plugins or page builder, delivered 98 on Lighthouse from day one.

(04)Where the difference is

Four things a template could never deliver.

01Design

A visual system built for this box, not picked from a theme catalogue: bold typography, original action photography and a dark palette with an electric accent. Nothing on this website is reused anywhere else.

02Speed

A static build with React, Tailwind CSS and Vite, no plugins, no page builder. 98 on Lighthouse in production from launch day, with the first paint not waiting on JavaScript.

03Experience

The journey was drawn as an explicit funnel (visit, lead, member) with the trial class always one tap away, and designed mobile first, because that's where nearly all of a box's traffic comes from.

04Local SEO

Titles and headings written around what people actually search for when looking for a CrossFit box in Las Palmas and the surrounding area, with the town named where it counts. Search Console shows 429 clicks and 7.39k impressions in the first few months.

(05)How it was made
01

Strategy and architecture

We mapped the full funnel: visit → lead → member. We defined the information structure and the stack around the conversion goal, not the other way round.

02

Design and prototyping

A visual system that breathes real energy. A clickable prototype signed off by the box's team before a single line of code was written.

03

Development and integration

React + Tailwind CSS + Vite. A static build tuned for load speed, with every section designed to nudge towards conversion.

04

Launch and optimisation

CI/CD deployment, post-launch performance analysis and journey tweaks based on what the box's team told us about the enquiries coming in.
