Websites for renovationsand trades.

Websites for renovation companies, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, locksmiths and cleaners in Gran Canaria, the Canary Islands and across Spain. I set up quoting over WhatsApp with photos, a gallery of your own work and a page per service. The Google profile and reviews do much of the work, because that is where people look for you.

What the website needs

Six things a customer asks for.

Someone looking for a builder or a plumber does not read: they compare photos, check whether you cover their town and send a WhatsApp. The website has to give them that in two screens, without a long form.

Quote

01

Over WhatsApp

With photos

Someone with a leak does not fill in a ten field form: they send a photo and ask how much. The button opens the chat with the message started and makes clear what is worth sending: a photo of the problem, the town and whether it is urgent.

Gallery

02

Your own work

Before and after

Photos of jobs you have done yourself, with the town and one line about what was done. No stock images: they show, and anyone comparing three websites notices before anything else. If a job is good, the before and after tell it better than a paragraph.

Service area

03

By town

Where you go

The towns where you work, written on the website and on your Google profile, with jobs done there. Someone searching for "renovations in Arucas" or "plumber in Telde" needs to see that you cover their town, not an "all of the Canary Islands" that could be about anywhere.

Services

04

One per page

Each trade, its text

A bathroom renovation, a new consumer unit, a roof or cleaning a plot: each service with its page, its photo and its explanation. That is what lets you appear in the specific search and not only under the company name.

Hours and reviews

For a trade, the Google profile often brings more enquiries than the website. I leave it complete, with the right category, opening hours, photos of your work and replies to reviews, including the bad ones: a serious reply to a complaint says more than ten five star ones.

Response time

06

A real deadline

Stated on the site

If you reply the same day, say so. A short, true deadline gives more confidence than "a reply as soon as possible", which promises nothing. For emergencies, the phone also needs to be one tap away.

These readings describe what a renovation company's website needs. There are no quote or project figures because I do not publish numbers I cannot verify.

What I build

So they find you and write to you.

The website does not win the job: it gets the person with the problem to message you with a photo and enter the conversation already knowing what you do and where you work.

Contact in one tap

WhatsApp with the message started, a phone number that dials on its own and a form that can be filled in with one hand. The website explains what to send so the quote comes out right first time.

Work people can see

A gallery by type of job and by town, with your own photos, the before and after where there is one, and a line about what was done. Photos are ordered and prepared so they load quickly on a phone.

A page per service

Each trade with its own text, its photos and the towns where you do it. An area only gets its own page if there are jobs from there to show: copying the same text with the town name changed helps nobody.

Google profile and reviews

I complete the profile, link it to the website and leave a simple route to ask for a review when a job is finished. Replies are written with care, especially when the review is not good.

How it goes

From the job to the website.

You know the price before I start and you see the website with your photos from the first week.

  1. 01

    Starting with the audit (optional)

If you are not sure where to begin, I review your website, your Google profile and how people contact you now. It costs €150 + IGIC, and that €150 is deducted from the quote if you hire me for anything within the following 3 months.

  2. 02

    Call and fixed quote

Which services you provide, which towns you cover and how enquiries reach you today. You leave with a fixed quote and the scope in writing.

  3. 03

    Photos and copy

I gather photos of your jobs, put them in order and write what was done in each one. If you have none, a phone photo can be the starting point and be improved with the next finished job.

  4. 04

    Build and testing

I build the website and test WhatsApp, the phone number and the form from a real phone. I check what message you receive and how the gallery looks on a slow connection.

  5. 05

    Launch, profile and reviews

It goes live indexable, with analytics set up and the Google profile linked. After that, new jobs, changes to your area or maintenance can be agreed if you want it.

  • It is, but the gallery is what convinces people most in this trade. Photos from a phone, straightened and cropped, can be the starting point, and are replaced as better jobs come in. A visit to the next job can also produce a proper set of photos.
